Extensive (low maintenance) or Intensive (roof garden)
available. Half sq m modules that simply clip together
planted or used as plant in place. If access is required
to the roof - simply unclip them.
Features:
Lightweight - can be as light as 50kg sq m (saturated
weight) with 50mm depth. NB 70-100mm is recommended
for long term plant health and sustainability. A green
roof can weigh less than gravel.
Modular - easy & fast to install (Size 1m

Removable - simply unclip to access roof and
simply replace with minimal plant disturbance (up to
150mm depth)
Improved large 'egg-shell' design of the base
layer creates excellent air flow and drainage

Custom planting available (native plants and
grasses encouraged)

Landcare Research Trials
Landcare Research have been conducting
trials on the modular green roofing system at their
HQ in Auckland using NZ native planting under the expertise
of Professor Robyn Simcock.
